"The Food For Life Planting Foundation (FFLPF) is a unique nonprofit charity dedicated to planting edible, fruitful trees and plants to benefit needy populations and improve the surrounding air, soil, and water. A minimum 10% of annual revenues are donated to the Food For Life Planting Foundation.

Their programs, strategically plant trees and edible plants where the harvest will best serve the community for decades to follow, at places such as public schools, homeless shelters, drug rehabs, low-income areas, international hunger relief sites, and animal shelters. FFLPFs projects benefit the environment, peoples health, and animals-all at once!

FFLPFs goal is straightforward: to collectively plant over a million plants and trees for a healthier planet and all who live there. In a world where land is overused, the foundation's holistic approach heals the environment by helping to clean the air, improve the soil, prevent erosion, create animal habitats, maintain valuable water and other resources, and by providing the healthiest most nutritious foods.

They envision a planet where you can enjoy the shade of a Food For Life Tree, breathe the clean air it generates, and watch the birds it attracts. An alternative to buying environmentally-destructive, disease-causing, chemical-laden products.

FFLPF will plant thousands of Food For Life plants and trees across planet and provided advice and training for others to do so as well. They have launched a series of exciting new programs and they need your help! A minimum 10% of annual Lesson Cafe revenues are donated to the Food For Life Planting Foundation. "
